Founded by Jeremy Brosowsky in 2007 and described by Mashable as Digg for writers, Brijit was a startup that offered brought readers ‘the world in 100 words’, providing abridged versions of long-form content from the world’s leading magazines to help the curious but time-poor reader cut through the information overload. I was a freelance writer for the organisation, writing abstracts of articles originally published in The Economist, Monocle, Harper’s Bazaar and others. Brijit folded in 2008.
